1,500 Miles Makes a Decent Test Drive

It's official, we have a new (used) car. I left Friday morning at 5am to catch my flight to New York & returned home in our Subaru Outback on Sunday at 6pm. I got a nice long test drive back to Arkansas and passed through a total of 10 states (in order: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, & finally Arkansas). You may notice a little repetition in the early going which is due to a couple freeways being closed to snow and I had to change direction a bit. It was a great trip & the car ran fantastic. I didn't get to see anything in NYC except Yankee Stadium, which was still neat. The entire time the weather was below freezing and I repeatedly had to dodge salting trucks on the freeway. I was amazed that there was snow on the ground pretty much the whole way. It wasn't bare ground until I was halfway through Missouri and only 5 hours from Siloam Springs . We are very thankful for our new car & that we were able to get it here without any problems....we had a bad experience once and are relieved to have a good one.

Hi,
I am glad that you have your car safely home. I hope you get more rain. We are having lots of rain this week and snow in the higher elevations.
Love, Corinne
