
We had a great time at the game last weekend.
Razorbacks defeated
Troy in front of about 75,000 rabid Hog fans (
Qwest Field in Seattle is 68,000). The culture surrounding Arkansas football was amazing. The whole stadium was a sea of red. There are so many cheers and songs that everyone knew, we felt a little conspicuous not knowing them. With no competing state school, no pro sport teams, and being in the football crazy south it isn't a wonder everyone here is a fan. A very impressive feature of the
stadium was the video screen. It was and may still be the largest LED screen in the world and has a incredibly clear and crisp picture (it's just over my shoulder in the picture above).
