We had our closest call with a tornado so far. Last night a little after 4 am I was awoken to great thunder and the tornado siren. I got up and started the process of waking all the guys up and heading to the basement. This morning a number of trees down around campus, but no buildings were damaged. There was a fatality in town and the national news reports 7 deaths over all from storm. The amazing thing about a tornado is how selective it is. A girl tied on one side of town, but there were just broken branches other places. A whole string of light poles in a row, only one blown over.
