Tournament of Catan

Carolyn & I joined 10 friends tonight in a Settlers of Catan tournament and I just got home. We've long enjoyed settlers, but the tournament put a whole new twist on it. We had three tables with 4 players each. There were three rounds lasting 45 minutes and each player accumulates points through the rounds (If someone won the game before time ran out they got an extra point). The top four play for the championship in one final game. Going into the final game I was the point leader, but that didn't matter. The points only get you into the final game and the winner of that championship game wins the tourney. I was able to hold out and still win it all.
